Job summary

State of South Carolina is seeking a qualified professional to provide statewide leadership and oversight for maintenance operational support functions. The role emphasizes contract administration, budget support, and emergency readiness across statewide operations.

The position involves coordinating with multiple agencies and stakeholders to ensure contract performance and operational readiness, while supervising staff and guiding procedures and workflows for statewide maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five and one-half (5.5) years of relevant program management experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists with statewide leadership, coordination and oversight for maintenance operational support functions, including contract administration and budget support.
• Coordinates with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Engineering, districts and contractors to support procurement actions, operational readiness and contract implementation.
• Monitors contract performance, compliance and statewide support capabilities.
• Develops and maintains operational procedures, workflows and SOPs for statewide maintenance operations and emergency preparedness.
• Oversees budget tracking, fiscal monitoring, invoicing, expenditure review and financial reporting for statewide maintenance operations.
• Supervises assigned staff and represents the Director of Maintenance Office on committees and interdepartmental coordination efforts.
