Pacific Legal Foundation offers the Koch Internship Program (KIP), a paid experiential learning opportunity for early-career individuals across the U.S., with remote work by default and options to work from PLF offices. Interns work part-time (24 hours/week) while exploring liberty-centered public policy and litigation strategies.

Preference given to those in or near Arlington, VA, or willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student, or a recent graduate.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Interest in liberty and public policy.
• Able to work part-time (24 hours per week) and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Draft legislation, model bills, one-pagers, research memos, and blogs/op-eds supporting PLF’s mission.
• Conduct legislative and other research to support policy drafting.
• Review legislation and provide support to the State Policy team.
