Job summary

Future Founders is seeking a Startups Manager to support its idea/early-stage founder programs for diverse 18- to 30-year-old entrepreneurs in Chicago and nationwide. You will run Apprenticeship cohorts, help design and evaluate the Startup Bootcamp, recruit participants, and mentor founders.

The role involves strong facilitation, networking, and collaboration with senior leadership to secure new funding and drive impact. Remote-friendly with regular in-person engagement in Chicago.

Qualifications

• College graduate with 4+ years of professional experience.
• Experience coaching idea/early-stage entrepreneurs from underestimated backgrounds to launch businesses or founder experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Apprenticeship program and support Startup Bootcamp, including recruiting participants, program design and evaluation.
• Lead content-based workshops and conduct one-on-one mentoring sessions with founders.
• Build networks and strategic relationships within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, with emphasis on underestimated communities.
• Organize in-person retreats and manage cohort scheduling, goals, and progress.
• Assist senior leadership with fundraising, grant reporting, data collection and program evaluation.
