• Familiarity with the startup and fundraising ecosystem.
• A relevant professional network in New York.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Respect for conflicts rules, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
• Ability to manage activity independently in a remote contractor environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with founders, startup attorneys, legal professionals, investors, and ecosystem organizations in New York.
• Identify companies approaching fundraising, formation, governance, or growth decisions that may create a need for an introduction.
• Hold high-level conversations about the founder's goals, timing, and interest in speaking with our team.
• Coordinate consent-based introductions and provide accurate contextual notes.
• Maintain organized records of partner relationships and follow-up.
• Help identify recurring founder questions and partnership opportunities in the market.
• Represent Acquisition Network professionally in all communications.
