Job summary

Acquisition Network LLC is expanding a network of independent professionals who can identify founders preparing to raise capital and connect them with the appropriate next step. The Startup Partnerships Advisor will map the local founder ecosystem, build professional relationships, and coordinate introductions when all parties agree.

This remote contractor role requires experience with startup attorneys, founders, or emerging companies within Boston, as well as the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Experience in startup law, venture transactions, capital formation, or emerging companies.
• Familiarity with startup fundraising ecosystem.
• Strong judgment and communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote contractor role.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with founders, startup attorneys, legal professionals, investors, and ecosystem organizations in Boston.
• Identify companies approaching fundraising, formation, governance, or growth decisions that may create a need for an introduction.
• Hold high-level conversations about the founder's goals, timing, and interest in speaking with our team.
• Coordinate consent-based introductions and provide accurate contextual notes.
• Maintain organized records of partner relationships and follow-up.
• Help identify recurring founder questions and partnership opportunities in the market.
• Represent Acquisition Network professionally in all communications.
