OneSignal, Inc. is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to help scale our autonomous lifecycle marketing platform. You will lead significant projects that shape reliability and performance across core services, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, resilient systems.

You will work with Rust, gRPC, Redis, Kafka, and databases at scale, applying data‑driven insight and experimentation to improve engineering workflows and product outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience operating reliable production systems at scale.
• Proficiency in Rust, C/C++ or Golang for high‑performance code.
• Familiarity with distributed data flows and system design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to architect high‑performance services.
• Participate in code reviews and production on‑call rotation.
• Address production issues and ensure system scalability.
• Perform data analysis and performance profiling for optimization.
• Drive experiments and engineer solutions for business needs.
• Design APIs and schemas for distributed services.
• Shape reliability and future directions of the platform.
