Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Advanced Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across multiple teams in a remote-capable role. You will shape architecture, drive complex initiatives, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product, design, and operations.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of backend experience, strong system-design skills, and a track record of delivering scalable cloud or data-heavy systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Eight or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-team engineering initiatives.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms, or large-scale data systems.
• Strong programming skills in at least one major backend language.
• Excellent system-design and architecture skills.
• Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership of senior engineers.
• Strong understanding of operational excellence, reliability, and observability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Track record of influencing engineering culture and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep technical leadership across multiple teams and drive the design of cross-cutting initiatives.
• Shape architecture and raise the engineering bar while delivering ambitious roadmaps.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions with cross-functional partners.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code and design reviews.
