Job summary

Platform9 in the United States seeks a Staff Product Manager to own the Platform9 Private Cloud Director, driving vision and execution for a leading private cloud management product. You will work with customers, engineering and GTM teams to shape the roadmap and deliver value across VMware- and bare-metal-based environments.

You will define metrics for engagement and success, communicate roadmaps internally, and ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• MS in Computer Science or equivalent with 4+ years building enterprise software products.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organization and presentation skills.
• Experience leading through influence and driving multiple high-priority projects.
• Domain knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Linux/KVM) and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead product strategy for Platform9’s private cloud infrastructure stack.
• Collaborate with customers and users to understand processes and pain points.
• Study industry trends in virtualization and container orchestration.
• Define innovative products and drive roadmap execution with engineering and GTM teams.
• Establish success metrics, present reports to management, and influence roadmaps.
• Act as trusted advisor to customers, enable successful deployments and adoption.
