Job summary

Confluent is seeking a Staff PM for Cloud Networking to own the platform strategy and architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will set the multi-year roadmap, align with engineering and field teams, and guide architecture beyond individual features.

You will partner with leadership to drive platform bets, focus on security, cost efficiency, and enterprise readiness, and mentor senior PMs while engaging strategic customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience in tech.
• 3+ years owning a cloud infrastructure, platform, or networking product.
• Deep fluency in cloud networking concepts across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Experience serving enterprise customers with complex compliance and connectivity needs.
• Proven ability to partner with engineering leadership as a co-decision-maker.
• Strong analytical foundation with cost and risk modeling for platforms.
• AI-native product management mindset across lifecycle stages.
• Experience developing and mentoring PMs.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform strategy for Confluent Cloud Networking across cloud providers.
• Define frameworks and standards for evaluating networking decisions and launches.
• Drive architectural decisions with emphasis on cost, UX, and ops complexity.
• Identify adjacencies and build the business case for new capabilities.
• Develop the product team through mentorship and feedback on roadmaps.
• Build stakeholder alignment across product, eng, sales, and security, and present to executives.
• Define and own success metrics linking technical milestones to business outcomes.
• Engage with strategic customers and prospects in credible technical discussions.
