RPh on the Go USA, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Remote Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract to support a growing pharmacy operation with rising prescription and patient volume.

The role blends clinical pharmacy services and patient consultation (roughly 50/50 between verification and direct interactions). You will handle inbound/outbound calls and provide medication counseling by phone in a fast-paced, regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Active Idaho Pharmacist license or willingness to obtain Idaho license.
• US residency with Idaho licensure eligibility.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Retail, specialty, or mail-order pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Comfortable conducting frequent patient consultations by phone.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive patient counseling and medication education by phone.
• Answer questions about new prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and proper medication use.
• Handle inbound and outbound patient calls with high customer service.
• Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and resolve clinical issues.
• Clinically review and verify new/refill prescriptions for safety and dosing.
• Perform final pharmacist verification in a high-volume environment.
• Verify medication accuracy and labeling before dispensing.
• Assist leadership with processing and transferring patient prescriptions.
• Take ownership of prescription transfers from initiation to completion.
• Support a fast-paced, compliant pharmacy operation.
