Job summary

RPh on the Go USA, Inc. is seeking a Remote Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-perm assignment. The role blends clinical prescription review with patient consultations, conducted by phone, in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for appropriate therapy, counseling patients, and coordinating with prescribers. Idaho licensure is required, with nationwide remote eligibility. Shifts vary within EST hours and scheduling is interview-based.

Qualifications

• Active Idaho Pharmacist license required, or willingness to obtain Idaho licensure.
• Candidate may work remotely from anywhere in the United States as long as Idaho licensure is met.
• Previous Pharmacist experience required.
• Retail, specialty, or mail-order pharmacy experience preferred.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations by phone and provide medication counseling.
• Respond to patient questions regarding prescriptions, refills, administration, side effects, and adherence.
• Manage inbound and outbound patient communications.
• Review new and refill prescriptions for therapy, dosing, interactions and contraindications.
• Complete pharmacist verification before dispensing.
• Confirm medication, dosage, quantity, and labeling accuracy in high-volume environments.
• Communicate with prescribers to resolve prescription issues.
• Assist with prescription intake, processing, and transfers.
• Follow prescriptions through transfer process to completion.
• Partner with staff to maintain efficient workflow.
• Uphold pharmacy standards for accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.
