Job summary

Belmar Pharma Solutions is seeking a remote Staff Pharmacist to oversee initial and final prescription verifications and provide patient counseling. The role includes supervising technicians and ensuring adherence to USP standards and company policies from a remote location.

The position follows Arizona time with a 7-on/7-off schedule, including overnights, and offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with an active Arizona license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain additional state licenses as required by the pharmacy.
• Ability to read and understand SOPs and guidelines relevant to the process.
• Good computer skills including data entry and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong math skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational, attention to detail and follow-through abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial verification including DUR on all prescriptions.
• Perform final verification as the final quality check on prescriptions.
• Check state PDMP when required.
• Supervise technicians and provide counseling to patients and providers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws.
• Stay current on Belmar formulary items and compounding processes.
• Support pharmacy management in carrying out the mission and vision.
