Job summary

Keycard is hiring two staff-level Software Engineers, Infrastructure to own build, release, and run the control plane for agent-native systems. You will own deployments across customer and provider clouds, build shared tooling, and ensure security and reliability.

This role emphasizes BYOC, multi-cloud support, and auditable operations. You will work with founders, engineers, product, and customers, shaping guardrails, scalability, and cost-conscious deployments in AWS with EKS, Pulumi, and

Qualifications

• Infrastructure as software with Pulumi, Terraform or CDK.
• Go or TypeScript tooling experience.
• Production Kubernetes with Helm in cloud environments.
• Deep AWS experience: IAM, SCPs, VPC networking.
• Operate software in customer accounts / self-hosted deployments.
• Versioned releases with customer upgrade paths.
• Ability to debug across layers (network security, TLS, proxies).
• Experience working with customer platform and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Own build and release systems across multi-tenant cloud deployments.
• Define and enforce compatibility across clouds, regions and Kubernetes versions.
• Manage deployments in customer and provider clouds with IaC and bootstrap patterns.
• Own release pipelines with staged promotion and rollback capabilities.
• Set availability and durability targets; define runbooks and incident response.
• Develop agents for repetitive tasks with auditable, scoped credentials.
• Control cloud spend and optimize install costs.
