Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to provide deep technical leadership across multiple teams and drive cross-cutting engineering initiatives. You will shape architecture, raise the engineering bar, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product, design, and operations to translate ambiguous requirements into robust solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, strong system-design skills, and a proven ability to influence engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Eight or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-team engineering initiatives.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms, or large-scale data systems.
• Strong programming skills in at least one major backend language.
• Excellent system-design and architecture skills.
• Mentorship and technical leadership of senior engineers.
• Strong understanding of operational excellence, reliability, and observability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Track record of influencing engineering culture and standards.
