AmTrust North America seeks California-licensed attorneys who reside outside the State to represent AmTrust and its insureds in workers’ compensation matters before the WCAB, with appearances via secure video conference.

The role supports full-time or part-time schedules, handles pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation, and requires up to 95-case caseload management, remote depositions, and ongoing professional development.

Formación

• Licensed by the California State Bar.
• Strong knowledge of the California Labor Code and Rules of Practice.
• Ability to handle up to 95 cases from inception to settlement.
• 1+ year experience in Workers’ Compensation.
• Experience with remote appearances.

Responsabilidades

• Represent employer and carrier before the WCAB at hearings, conferences, trials, and appeals.
• Disposit caseload promptly and efficiently.
• Appear remotely at depositions, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Conduct extensive legal research and develop defense strategies.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs in support of defense.
