Job summary

TeamSnap is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Android) to lead our in-app advertising efforts. You will shape the architecture for a scalable, privacy-conscious ad platform in a Kotlin/Jetpack Compose app used by millions, aligning with Product, Legal, and Data teams.

You’ll own the Android ad stack, drive cross-team initiatives, mentor engineers, and define standards that keep our mobile product fast, reliable, and delightful for families across remote teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building Kotlin Android apps at scale.
• Proven ability to lead Android initiatives across teams.
• Strong knowledge of modern Android tooling and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve Android ad platform for the app.
• Deliver display, native and video ad experiences.
• Incorporate privacy/consent into the ad stack with Legal/Privacy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define roadmap and measure impact.
