LettrLabs is hiring a Staff AI Product Engineer in the Los Angeles area, with remote options. You will own AI-powered products end-to-end for multiple business domains, balancing product discovery with engineering delivery, and reporting to the VP of Software.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, staff level or equivalent scope.
• Meaningful product engineering experience: shipped user-facing products and own outcomes.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, such as agents, tool use, retrieval, evals, or context engineering.
• Strong product sense: translate messy business processes into clear problems and solutions.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders, from frontline reps to executives.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, set priorities, and ship quickly with high quality.
• Comfort owning production systems, including monitoring and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Embed with teams across the business to understand goals, workflows, and pain points.
• Map processes end-to-end and identify where AI tools or automation will lift KPIs.
• Design, build, and ship AI tools and harnesses from prototype to production.
• Own what you ship after launch: reliability, adoption, and impact measurement.
• Define success metrics and baselines with each team (e.g., pipeline per BDR, retention).
• Build on existing stack or adopt new tech where needed to solve the problem.
• Create reusable patterns and context to speed future deployments.
