Job summary

Hoskinson Family Office is seeking a Staff Accountant for a full-time remote role based in Utah, Colorado or Wyoming. You will manage daily bookkeeping, record journal entries, and reconcile accounts while supporting month-end close and budgeting activities.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, U.S. GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and strong communication. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA progress is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or progress toward certification is a plus
• Experience in a family office, private wealth management, or similar environment is beneficial but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping activities and maintain the general ledger
• Record journal entries and reconcile bank and investment accounts
• Prepare financial statements and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with budgeting and cash flow tracking
• Coordinate with external advisors to ensure regulatory compliance
• Produce ad hoc financial reports and improve accounting controls
