Job summary

ImpactAssets Services is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in a fully remote capacity anywhere in the United States. The role emphasizes applying accounting standards to complex transactions, ensuring timely financial information, and improving processes within a dynamic, growth-oriented nonprofit investment organization.

You will work under the Controller, participate in month-end close, GL activities, and grant disbursements, with travel 2-3 times per year for company events

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience in a non-profit and/or investment organization strongly preferred.
• Experience using Sage Intacct, or similar web-based accounting system required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Record wire transfers, ACH disbursements, and payroll-related entries.
• Lead accounts payable processes, vendor setup and 1099 reporting.
• Support interim and year-end audit and tax schedules.
