Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking an Accountant II to support corporate accounting operations in a fully remote setting in Arizona. This role emphasizes accurate financial reporting, month-end close, and cross-functional collaboration across departments.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 2+ years of accounting experience, and strong GAAP knowledge, with advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail. This is a direct hire position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Support month-end close and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Assist with internal and external audits, including schedules and supporting documentation.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and audit findings.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Help document and improve accounting processes and procedures.
• Support special projects as needed.
