Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a motivated Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) / Platform Infrastructure Engineer Intern to learn how large-scale systems are built, deployed and maintained in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with Kubernetes, AWS, and automation tools to improve reliability, observability, and developer workflows while gaining hands-on experience in distributed systems and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed CS/engineering degree or equivalent.
• Fundamental knowledge of cloud platforms, Linux and networking.
• Experience with at least one programming language (Golang or Python).
• Exposure to containers (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining infrastructure using Kubernetes and AWS.
• Monitor performance and help troubleshoot production issues.
• Improve observability with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve developer workflows.
• Participate in on-call shadowing and incident reviews.
