Job summary

AuraOne is seeking an Infrastructure / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) reviewer for a remote, contractor role. You will evaluate production code, reproduce failures, and write tests representing the model's intended behavior.

You will grade outputs for correctness, reliability, and edge-case handling while documenting issues for the modeling team. Ideal candidates have strong engineering experience, are able to read and run unfamiliar code, and can produce concise review notes that persuade

Qualifications

• Strong day-job engineering experience reading, running, and debugging unfamiliar code for SRE work.
• Clear ability to write concise unit tests that capture a single failure mode.
• Familiarity with a testing framework such as pytest, Jest, or JUnit.

Responsibilities

• Run and reproduce candidate code outputs in a sandboxed environment.
• Grade cloud and platform engineering solutions for correctness and edge cases.
• Write the smallest failing test to demonstrate a bug.
• Compare paired solutions with a written rationale tied to the rubric.
• Tag failure modes with severity scores.
• Document recurring code-generation failures for the modeling team.
• Calibrate reviews to maintain inter-rater consistency.
