Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality loan processing, review files for adherence to underwriting standards, and ensure completeness of submissions.
2. Obtain necessary information such as loan applications, credit documents, appraisals, etc., to process and complete mortgage loan files.
3. Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
4. Maintain open communication with external and internal parties involved in the loan process.
5. Ensure all loans are processed to meet company and investor guidelines.
6. Monitor pipeline to ensure timely funding of loans.
7. Assist with post-closing activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of loan processing experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage processing systems (Encompass/Empower preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle detailed tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office machines.
• Experience with Automated Underwriting Engines preferred.
