Job summary

K&A Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Splunk & SOAR Platform Engineer to support enterprise cybersecurity applications within a Security Operations Division. This role is primarily remote, but onsite in Washington, DC is required as needed to support upgrades, migrations, or troubleshooting.

The candidate will be the primary technical resource for Splunk Enterprise, ES, and SOAR, ensuring platform health, upgrades, and operational readiness, with backup support for other

Qualifications

• Experience administering Splunk Enterprise and Splunk ES in production.
• Hands-on Splunk SOAR/Phantom administration and upgrades.
• Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs).

Responsibilities

• Own Splunk Enterprise, ES, and SOAR platforms reliability and upgrades.
• Plan tests and execute ES and SOAR upgrades and patches.
• Maintain backups and recovery procedures for cybersecurity apps.
• Support Docker/containerized environments and related infra.
• Provide on-call rotation coverage and cross-team collaboration.
