Job summary

Northwest Area Education Agency seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist Telepractice (SLP-TP) to deliver comprehensive services to learners birth to 21 via telepractice. The role involves partnering with educators, families, assistants, and communities to provide direct services, consultation, and training within the agency’s educational framework.

The SLP-TP will assess speech and language development, ensure compliance with FERPA/HIPAA, and support MTSS across districts in Northwest Iowa.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Iowa BoEE B-21 SLP license or Iowa IDPH SLP license with SPR; CCCs encouraged.
• ASHA CCCs encouraged, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with school teams, families and educators to support learners’ communication development.
• Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop IFSPs/IEPs as appropriate.
• Provide direct instruction or consultative support for speech, language and articulation goals.
• Utilize data to monitor progress and adjust interventions within MTSS.
