Northwest AEA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve birth through age 21 across 10-county Northwest Iowa. You will deliver direct services, provide consultation, coaching, and training to educators, families, and communities, and support MTSS-based interventions with data-driven progress monitoring.

The role emphasizes collaboration, compliance with FERPA/HIPAA, and ongoing professional development in evidence-based practices within a supportive educational framework.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Iowa BoEE B-21 license or Iowa DoPH license with SPR.
• ASHA CCCs encouraged but not required.

• Consultation, collaboration, and coaching with MTSS to enhance learner outcomes.
• Complete comprehensive evaluations for eligibility and develop IFSPs/IEPs.
• Provide direct instruction or consultative support for speech and language disorders.
• Utilize data to inform instructional strategies and monitor progress.
• Identify needs and train staff on AAC and communication technology.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation per FERPA/HIPAA.
• Participate in eligibility meetings, IEPs, and reevaluations.
