Job summary

Kids on the Yard is seeking a Remote SPED Tutor for Middle School (Grades 6–8) to provide 1:1 support for students with individualized instruction. This part-time role is flexible with availability preferred during mornings and weekends.

Qualified candidates will have a Special Education certification, at least 3 years of experience, and the ability to implement IEP/504 plans effectively. Join us in delivering impactful education remotely across the United States.

Qualifications

  • Active Special Education certification (state or national).
  • Minimum 3 years of classroom or tutoring experience, ideally at the Middle School level.
  • Experience implementing IEPs/504 plans.
  • Able to pass a background check and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 online instruction aligned to each student's IEP/504 goals.
  • Assess progress regularly and adapt methods to the student's evolving needs.
  • Be punctual and reliable; follow all privacy and confidentiality protocols.
