Responsibilities

• Uses knowledge of Subject Matter and curriculum development including scope and sequence.
• Displays interpersonal skills: communicates effectively, promotes respect, fosters positive self-concepts and a stimulating learning environment.
• Plans instruction: weekly lesson plans with goals and activities; assess and tailor objectives to learners.
• Provides instruction: aligns with objectives, uses varied strategies, monitors progress, and checks mastery.
• Uses Learning Principles to provide practice, accountability, and structured focus for learning objectives.
• Applies Classroom Management strategies to set expectations and manage behavior across groups.
• Demonstrates Professionalism through ongoing development, parent communication, and responsible use of information.
• Gathers and records data in compliance with district and state policies.
