Job summary

Proximity Learning Inc. seeks a Part-time Spanish Teacher to work from home in Austin, TX. The role requires availability during the students’ instructional day and does not include after-school or weekend classes.

You will implement standards-based Spanish instruction, align lessons with NCSSFL-ACTFL Can-Do Statements, and report to Vice Principals. Employment is within a teacher pool for active placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Teaching license issued by a state Department of Education in one of the United States.
• Certified in relevant subject area(s).
• Open to seeking additional out of state certifications based on class offerings.

Responsibilities

• Administer curriculum aligned with NCSSFL-ACTFL Spanish standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet all students’ needs.
• Create and maintain a positive virtual learning environment.
• Develop and implement effective Spanish lessons.
• Analyze student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Participate in professional development and department meetings.
• Maintain accurate records and professional competency.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
