Mercor seeks a Music Production Expert fluent in Spanish (MX) to evaluate AI-generated music and label songs by genre, structure, instruments, and vocals. This contract role requires about 20 hours per week. You will work asynchronously with AI teams to improve dataset quality and model outputs, leveraging 2+ years of production experience and critical listening with headphones or monitors.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish (MX) and ability to follow detailed instructions in English.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated music across genres for musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality.
• Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics.
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance training data quality and model outputs.
