Job summary

Assurant, Inc. is seeking a part-time SOX Audit Intern to support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities within the Financial Controls SOX Department.

This remote role offers flexible scheduling and hands-on experience in testing, MAR management, and cross-functional coordination. Qualified students pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree (graduate 2028 or pursuing master's) who are detail-oriented, organized, and able to work 20 hours weekly during the school year and up to 40 hours in breaks

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree, graduating in 2028 or planning to pursue a master’s in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.) and accuracy are required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support SOX management testing and related duties in the Financial Controls SOX Department.
• Assist with MAR management testing and other assignments as needed, including collaboration with external auditors.
