Job summary

Henry Schein, Inc. is seeking an Internal Audit Intern to support the team across quarterly cutoff procedures and SOX/compliance audits. This part-time role (12-16 hours/week) starts ASAP with potential for a full internship schedule during the summer.

The intern will assist with audit projects, document findings, and collaborate with audit managers in a fast-paced office environment. Candidates may be pursuing an accounting-related degree, with high school or vocational training as a baseline.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Pursuing accounting degree or related field.
• Travel typically less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Executes quarterly sales cutoff procedures for proper accounting treatment.
• Assists with substantive procedures to support external auditor’s year-end audit.
• Assists with financial and SOX compliance audit projects, documenting results with audit managers.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
