Job summary

Tate Americas is seeking a Solutions Engineer with deep expertise in data center infrastructure, including hot/aisle containment, AHU, manifolds, and power stack. You’ll lead technical efforts across Commercial, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure manufacturability and commercial viability from pre-order through handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or related field.
• 8+ years in data center infrastructure solutions.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing role (Sales Engineer/solutions).

Responsibilities

• Own the project scope, requirements, and business case for customer solutions from concept through handoff.
• Actively participate in project teams to guide design decisions, ensuring alignment to scope, cost, and performance requirements.
• Develop customer-specific containment and modular solutions that meet technical, operational, and commercial needs.
• Support RFQs and quote development, ensuring timely submissions with clearly defined assumptions, risks, and constraints.
• Partner with estimating to align solution design with cost targets and manufacturability.
