EDB is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our remote US team. You will blend frontend and backend work, develop data pipelines, and manage cloud infrastructure.

The role requires cross-disciplinary skills across JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Next.js, API design, and AWS, with emphasis on data workflows using Airflow and dbt. The ideal candidate is a technical generalist who can navigate UI tasks and data engineering, while learning new tools and frameworks as the stack evolves.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/Typescript & Node.js, with Next.js and API development.
• Proven Python experience for app development or data engineering.
• Working knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Experience in data pipelines and tools like dbt and Airflow.
• Familiarity with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier).
• Strong SQL skills and PostgreSQL experience (schemas, queries, optimization).
• Proficient in Git and CI/CD for reliable deployments.
• Able to switch between UI tasks and data pipelines; continuous learning mindset.

We are seeking aSolution Developer to join our engineering team. This is a versatile role requiring a mix of full-stack web development, data pipeline engineering, and cloud infrastructure management. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining applications that involve both user-facing interfaces and complex back-end automation.

The ideal candidate is a technical generalist who is comfortable working across multiple languages (JavaScript and Python) and is eager to adopt new technologies as our stack evolves.

Your impact will be:

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications usingNext.js and Node.js.
• Write clean, maintainable code inPython for backend services and data processing scripts.
• Build and monitor automated workflows and data pipelines usingAirflow and dbt.
• Design and implement secure, scalableRESTful APIs.
• Manage and deploy applications within anAWS environment, ensuring cloud best practices are followed.
• Optimize database performance and manage data migrations inPostgres.
• Quickly learn and implement new frameworks or tools based on project-specific requirements

What you will bring:

• Frontend/Backend: 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/Typescript & Node.js; with deep understanding of the Next.js framework; and strong experience with API development & integrations
• Python: Proven experience using Python for application development or data engineering.
• Cloud: Working knowledge of AWS core services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Data Tools: Experience in Pipeline Development, specifically transforming data with dbt and/or workflow tools like n8n along with scheduling tasks with Airflow.
• Automation: Experience with workflow automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier, or custom-built solutions).
• Database: Strong SQL skills and experience managing PostgreSQL databases (schema designs; complex queries and optimization).
• Version Control: Proficient in Git version control (branching, PRs, code reviews) and implementing CI/CD workflows to ensure stable, high-quality code delivery.
• Adaptability: Ability to switch between different programming languages and technical domains (e.g., moving from a UI task to a data pipeline task).
• Problem-Solving: A track record of identifying technical bottlenecks and implementing efficient solutions.
• Continuous Learning: A proactive approach to learning new technologies and staying current with industry trends.

Compensation Range: $110-125k + annual bonus
