Job summary

SHI is seeking a Solutions Engineer, Data Engineering to design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Azure and Fabric. You will work with Solution Engineers, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable data pipelines for analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.

This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, with initial focus on public sector and regulated industries, emphasizing data lakehouse implementations and Azure ecosystem expertise.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering experience on Azure and Fabric.
• Strong data pipelines, lakehouse/warehouse design and operations.
• Knowledge of security, governance, encryption, and regulated data.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver data ingestion and integration pipelines.
• Develop lakehouse/warehouse solutions with Azure technologies.
• Collaborate with BI/analytics teams to prepare data for reporting and AI use cases.
• Implement data quality, lineage, and governance practices.
• Participate in code reviews, tests, and CI/CD processes.
• Produce design artifacts, runbooks, and operational documentation.
