FourLeaf Federal Credit Union in Bethpage, NY is seeking a Solutions Architect – Data Engineering to design, build, and scale our enterprise data platform. You will own end-to-end architecture, model domains, and define governance standards while translating business needs into robust data solutions.

This role involves hands-on engineering across data ingestion, Matillion, Snowflake, and BI readiness, plus collaboration with analysts, product owners, and data stewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years in data engineering/architecture with enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake required).
• Experience with modern ETL/ELT tools; Matillion expertise strongly preferred.
• Certifications: SnowPro, Databricks, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud data analytics certs.

Responsibilities

• Design and own enterprise data platform architecture across multiple domains.
• Lead ingestion pipelines for 75+ systems of record; implement Bronze/Silver/Gold layering.
• Build reusable ETL/ELT patterns and ensure quality at source.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, and SMEs to translate requirements into design.
• Ensure observability, monitoring, and cost governance for data platforms.
