Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience focused specifically on Solar PV electrical design.
• Proficiency with PV design software (PVSyst, Helioscope) and AutoCAD/Revit.
• Strong understanding of inverter technologies, MPPT, and grid interconnection requirements for solar projects.
• Knowledge of NEC and IEC electrical codes.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for utility-scale and commercial Solar PV projects, including string sizing, inverter selection, and AC/DC collection systems.
• Develop single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and grounding designs.
• Perform energy yield assessments and loss calculations for solar installations.
• Specify Balance of System (BOS) components and ensure compatibility.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, project managers, and site personnel to ensure constructability and operability.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in solar technology, industry standards, and best practices.
