Job summary

Jobot Consulting seeks a dynamic Permanent Solar Project Manager to oversee commercial solar projects from conception to completion. The role offers a mostly remote work arrangement with minimal monthly travel, and you will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and customers to keep projects on time and within budget.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management and 3+ years of solar PM experience on 1–10 MW sites; strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 3+ years of solar project management experience on 1-10 MW sites.
• Strong knowledge of solar technology, construction, and project management principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of solar projects from planning through operation.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans and ensure adherence.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Conduct site visits to assess feasibility and risks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor progress and report status to senior management.
• Manage contracts, permits, and technical specifications.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts promptly.
• Provide technical support to project team members.
