Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Soil and Water Conservation Scientist to review and improve AI-driven environmental content. This remote, hourly contract lets you work 10-40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling while applying soil science, hydrology, and conservation planning expertise to assess AI outputs for accuracy and real‑world relevance.

You will work independently, critique erosion control and watershed management content, and provide structured feedback to help AI reason and communicate

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in soil science, hydrology, or conservation planning.
• Strong ability to evaluate environmental science reasoning.
• Experience reviewing technical content is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated soil and water conservation scenarios for scientific accuracy and practical applicability
• Assess content related to erosion control, watershed management, and soil health
• Identify flawed assumptions, outdated methodologies, or impractical recommendations in AI outputs
• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve scientific rigor, clarity, and real-world relevance
