Back to the Roots, Inc. is seeking a Soil Production Analyst to own the production schedule, demand alignment, and inventory visibility across soil co-man sites.

You will translate demand signals from sales and forecasts into a clear production plan while flagging risks early to keep operations smooth and scalable. This fully remote role requires 2–4 years in production planning or supply chain analysis, with strong Excel skills and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
• 2-4 years of experience in production planning, operations analysis, or supply chain coordination
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel — pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, scenario modeling
• Experience with NetSuite or another ERP system
• Strong analytical instincts — you read between the numbers and translate data into action
• Attention to detail and follow-through; you own your work
• Clear written and verbal communication with internal teams and partners
• Comfortable in a fast-paced lean environment with multi-site co-manufacturing a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the master production schedule across all soil contract manufacturing sites
• Translate demand signals into a clear production plan for the co-man team
• Identify and flag supply risks early to prevent fires
• Align production sequencing with procurement timelines and co-man capacity
• Maintain real-time inventory accuracy across sites and distribution locations
• End-of-month inventory verification and reconciliation to catch discrepancies
• Monitor safety stock levels and alert for shortfalls
• Manage inventory transfers with full documentation
• Audit daily/weekly production reports and update NetSuite
• Track deliveries, costs, and production output; escalate shortages as needed
• Build dashboards tracking key metrics like fill rate and inventory turn
• Analyze data to identify cost savings and process improvements
• Work with Director of Operations to develop scalable tools and processes
• Model network scenarios, freight costs, and inventory positioning
