Job summary

Millennium is seeking a Software Test Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. An active secret clearance is required. The candidate will plan, design, execute, and report on software tests, coordinate with development, and support cybersecurity testing in line with DoD RMF.

The position requires BS with 8+ years of experience or HS diploma with 13+ years, and focuses on mentoring junior engineers while ensuring quality across all testing stages.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
• BS & 8 yrs of experience or HS Diploma and 13 yrs of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages planning, design, execution and reporting for software tests.
• Reviews requirements and testability, identifies gaps and methodology inputs.
• Reviews program documentation for quality and adherence to design concepts.
• Prepares milestone status reports and presentations on system concepts.
• Supports Cybersecurity T&E per DoDI 5000.02 and RMF.
• Prepares/reviews test plans and test cases with traceability to requirements.
• Collaborates with development throughout the lifecycle.
• Supports configuration management and tests at all levels (unit to UAT).
• Reports defects and tracks their status; analyzes test results and metrics.
• Trains, mentors and supervises junior software engineers.
