Job summary

ITility is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency program in a remote US role with Eastern Time work hours.

The candidate will analyze, design, modify and test software and system components, ensuring the environment remains stable, secure and current across applications, databases and infrastructure.

Required: Eight years of relevant experience, IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive designation or Tier 3 investigation, and availability to start on January 4, 2027.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in a relevant field (CS, Engineering or Information Systems/Technology).
• IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive designation or Tier 3 investigation in place at proposal submission.
• Available to start on 4 January 2027 and willing to sign a Letter of Commitment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and design changes to existing applications and components.
• Modify, build, test and deploy software fixes and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot complex system and performance issues across application, database and infrastructure layers.
• Support security patching, vulnerability remediation and technology refresh.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and design records.
