Job summary

CAMP Systems is a leader in aircraft compliance and health management, seeking a Software Support Technician to maintain customer satisfaction through remote software support, training, and issue resolution. You will handle on-call duties beyond normal hours and collaborate with engineers to improve systems.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree and at least two years of related experience, with strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and familiarity with aviation/industry

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school.
• Minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure/experience in preparing and presenting basic software training information.
• Knowledge of aviation industry a plus.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, identify, and resolve software issues via research, testing, and remote screen sharing.
• Provide Tier I support via help desk phone and email; includes Emergency Support line.
• Explain solutions clearly to clients and guide through corrective steps.
• Escalate incidents to Senior Support Engineers and inform manager of priorities.
• Consult customers on optimal software use based on best practices and business processes.
• Document information for specialists, follow up until resolution, and maintain knowledgebase.
