Job summary

CAMP Systems invites applications for a Software Support Technician to maintain customer satisfaction through remote software support, training, and on-site sessions. The role requires after-hours on-call availability and the ability to work independently with high reliability.

The candidate should have an associate degree and 2+ years of related experience, with knowledge of Windows, SQL, Oracle, and accounting systems. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and present basic software training information.
• Knowledge of aviation industry is a plus; bilingual (Spanish) is a big plus.
• Reading and interpreting technical procedures and communicating with stakeholders clearly.
• Experience with accounting processes and familiarity with networking standards are preferred.
• Knowledgeable in system administration and Microsoft Server/Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues via research, testing, and remote support.
• Provide Tier I help desk support via phone and email, including Emergency line.
• Guide clients through corrective steps clearly and jargon-free.
• Escalate incidents to Senior Engineers and alert management of priorities.
• Advise customers on best use of software based on their processes.
• Document information for specialists and follow through until resolution.
• Create and maintain knowledge base: processes, procedures, FAQs, known errors.
• Adhere to maintenance timelines and assist other technicians as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
