Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field and five years of software engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering backend platforms at scale.
• Proficiency with Node.js, Typescript, Kafka, DynamoDB, Lambda, Kubernetes and related stack.
• Ability to estimate and prioritize work for cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of low-latency APIs following industry best practices.
• Estimate work effort and prioritize features with product owners and Scrum teams.
• Ensure platform APIs comply with enterprise standards and review health of test suites.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Risk Engineers to plan capacity for AWS services.
