The position is fully remote, welcoming candidates across the United States and Canada with travel ~25%. The team also focuses on AI-enabled workflows and modernizing COBOL-based production systems for efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in MSSQL and database design.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, or another scripting language.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET Core framework.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using MSSQL.
• Develop and maintain COBOL applications to support production environments.
• Write clean, scalable code in C# using .NET Core to modernize the environment.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Take part in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
