Job summary

Aura is hiring a Software Engineer for the Monetization team, building systems that convert, retain, and grow Aura’s customer base across web and mobile.

You will ship features touching millions of customers, collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, and Data teams, run experiments, and iterate based on results. You’ll apply AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery while upholding quality and safeguards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-level shipping.
• Full-stack experience with modern front-end frameworks (React/TypeScript) and back-end tech (Node.js, GraphQL, REST).
• Ability to contribute to frontend, backend, or mobile codebases as needed.
• Experience with modern web tooling (bundlers, CI/CD, testing frameworks).
• Experience with analytics/observability tools (OpenTelemetry, PostHog, SigNoz, Grafana, Datadog).
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote-first environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Build features touching millions of customers and impact Aura's growth and revenue.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, and Data teams to run experiments and ship quickly.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging and planning.
• Maintain code quality with testing, reviews, and robust guardrails.
