Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our fast-paced fintech team. You will contribute to real-world projects, work on backend and frontend services, and gain exposure to our stack including Golang, TypeScript, Python, React, and databases.

You’ll participate in code reviews, collaborate with engineers, and help tune performance while documenting features for the knowledge base. This remote internship offers mentorship and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience with Golang, Python, or any backend language.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Willingness to learn, adapt quickly, and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing backend and frontend services.
• Write clean, scalable code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement features and resolve bugs.
• Work on performance tuning, debugging, and scaling of Sezzle’s platform.
• Document software functionalities and contribute to the knowledge base.
