Job summary

Meduit is seeking a Software Engineer II for full-time remote work in the United States. You will oversee the full lifecycle of software products, from design through testing and support, collaborating with senior engineers, product managers, system architects, and support teams to deliver reliable healthcare revenue cycle software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with MySQL or MariaDB databases.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ownership.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence or similar tools.
• Experience in healthcare technology or healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and follow established software designs for development, debugging, documentation, and testing.
• Modify, develop, and implement software programming applications.
• Support and maintain existing software applications.
• Participate in the testing process to ensure software quality and performance.
• Perform maintenance, feature development, quality assurance, documentation, and infrastructure or performance-related work across the application stack.
• Participate in the establishment and enforcement of development best practices and technical standards.
• Complete additional requests, projects, and tasks as assigned.
