Job summary

SKYGEN is hiring a software engineer to author and maintain applications in the healthcare space. You will work on multiple tech stacks, focusing on full‑stack development and secure coding practices.

The role requires 2–4 years of software development experience, strong knowledge of C#, Angular, JavaScript, REST APIs, and SQL Server. This is a remote, work‑from‑home position with collaboration on an Agile team.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience or certification; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Typically 2–4 years of software development experience.
• Knowledge of OO design, ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, .Net Core, RESTful APIs, C#, Angular, JavaScript, secure coding, Visual Studio, SQL Server or any relational DB.

Responsibilities

• Assist level 4 and lead engineers to develop, modify and maintain software applications for internal and external client use.
• Collaborate with internal resources to understand technical specifications and business requirements.
• Maintain current modules, applications or processes in production.
• Participate on an Agile scrum team, size work, decompose functionality, and iteratively deliver value.
• Unit test development.
• Follow directives from project mentor (senior engineer, project architect, etc.).
• Triage production issues and implement fixes.
• Code spelunking and debugging.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
